Mansarovar Rituals & Drive to Darchen
DarchenMorning prayers and circumambulation of Mansarovar Lake. Drive to Darchen, base for Mt. Kailash Parikrama.
Parikrama Day 1 — Darchen to Diraphuk
DiraphukBegin the sacred 52km Kailash circumambulation. Trek to Diraphuk (4,890m) with the north face of Kailash in full view.
Parikrama Day 2 — Cross Dolma La Pass
ZuthulphukThe most challenging and spiritual day. Cross Dolma La Pass (5,600m), the highest point, then descend to Zuthulphuk.
Parikrama Day 3 — Complete Circumambulation
DarchenComplete the Parikrama returning to Darchen. Celebration of the completion of the holy circuit.
Return to Hilsa
HilsaDrive back through the Tibetan plateau to Hilsa border crossing.
Helicopter to Simikot & Nepalgunj
NepalgunjReturn helicopter flights to Simikot then Nepalgunj.
Nepalgunj to Kathmandu
KathmanduMorning flight back to Kathmandu. Celebration dinner and rest.
